What are my limitations in ordering a rubber stamp?
Well, we're sad to say that it must be no larger than 8 1/4 x 11 1/4 inches. Other than that, your imagination and our font collection are the only limits! (Actually, if you have a favorite font or custom art, you can e-mail a laser printed file, or snail-mail a paper copy to us, but turn-around time and cost may be more. Call for details.)

How do I order a rubber stamp on-line, and is it secure?
To simplify ordering on-line we have added a walk-through process of choosing and purchasing your rubber stamps. Once you have completed the walk through process you can continue to our secure order form to complete your order. We will e-mail or call you back within 24 hours with a confirmation and price quote. Secure-transactions are conducted using the latest in encryption technology which will protect your credit card number from piracy when you submit your payment. It is a good idea never to submit any sensitive information on a non-secure web page.

Sounds good, but how much does it cost?
Here is an example to give you an idea of the cost of an average rubber stamp, text only: a rubber stamp that is two inches long and consists of three lines of text will cost $12.50. The longer the stamp, and the more lines added, the more the stamp will cost.

What are my limitations in ordering a self-inking stamp?
We offer several different TRODAT brand self-inking models, chosen because they are the longest lasting and highest quality self-inking stamps we have seen, having a flip-mechanism and separate inkpad built in. Just tell us the size of the space you want your text to use, left to right and/or top to bottom, and we'll choose the stamper that fits your needs. The largest model's text area is approximately 1.5 inches tall by 3 inches in length. If you need a larger stamp please see our wood-mounted rubber stamps above, or consider a MaxLight "flash" stamp.

What about ink for the self-inkers?
Of course, the standard ink colors are available, in BLACK, BLUE, and RED, but additional colors of PURPLE, GREEN, BROWN, and are also available. We carry both Trodat and Ideal inks, as well as some quicker drying black ink.

Why do you carry two brands of ink? Should I use one over the other?
There are some minor differences in some of the colors of inks offered by Trodat and Ideal. The red Trodat ink is thicker, creamier, and brighter, while the Ideal red ink is thinner and darker, with more blue tones. Trodat's green ink has a deeper color, with more blue tones, while Ideal's green ink has more yellow undertones. Their blacks and blues are very much alike.

What about the "quicker drying black ink" you mentioned earlier?
We can add, at an additional cost of $4.00 per ounce, a faster drying ink, used when you want the ink to dry faster, stay dry, and sometimes be stamped on surfaces other than regular paper. Let us know what you will be stamping on, and if the surface is treated, coated, etc. Not all surfaces take the same type of ink. You might need a wood-mounted stamp with a special pad of ink. We'll help you out! We want your impressions to be the best!

Unless otherwise indicated in the INSTRUCTIONS box, we will pick the smallest stamp that fits your stamp text, and use standard Ariel, 12 point font.
